Brendan Sheehan - executive editor

Brendan Sheehan joined Corporate Secretary magazine, Cross Border’s seminal North American publication for corporate secretaries and governance professionals, as senior editor in March 2005.
Prior to joining Cross Border, Sheehan worked in London as a senior analyst/journalist for BoardEx, where he wrote specific company analysis, authored the newsletter BoardExInsight, and was responsible for analyzing and reporting on corporate governance and board dynamics at UK and international firms. He is also a former bond analyst/journalist for MCM CorporateWatch, specializing in European high-yield and investment-grade deals.
Sheehan appears on panels at various chapter meetings of the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals across the US. In addition, he has been a guest on CNBC Europe’s Closing Bell and BBC 4’s Club Class, part of bi-weekly business program Analysis. He holds a Bachelors degree in business from the Queensland University of Technology.

Anna Snider - Senior editor

Anna Snider joined Corporate Secretary as senior editor in February 2007. She has covered law and business for magazines, newspapers and the web from bases in New York, London, San Francisco and Newark, New Jersey.
Anna covered stocks and money managers as a staff writer for SmartMoney.com. She was also the law firm beat reporter for the New York Law Journal, and her reporting has been published in the American Lawyer, The Deal, the Wall Street Journal Sunday and numerous other publications. Anna has also worked in corporate communications for Newsweek.
She has an MS in journalism from Columbia University, an MA in public policy and applied economics from the University of Michigan and a BA in political science from Swarthmore College.
Anna is also North American editor of IR magazine.

Janine Armin - Assistant editor

Janine Armin joined Corporate Secretary magazine in 2006. She writes and edits articles on governance and compliance for Corporate Secretary, and also contributes to IR Magazine.
She has written for a variety of publications including the Toronto Globe and Mail, the Village Voice and the Bookseller (UK). Her international journalism experience will inform the increasingly global coverage of Corporate Secretary. She received her BA from McGill University.

Kevin Begovich, art and production manager
Kevin Begovich joined Cross Border in 2005. He is responsible for overseeing all of the design and production projects coming out of the New York office, including layout, design and production of Corporate Secretary magazine.
With over 15 years' experience as an art director in the trade publications field, Begovich brings extensive knowledge and skills in art and production to the Cross Border team.
