| Amanda Lang is senior business correspondent for CBC News, reporting for its flagship newscast The National. She is also co-anchor of the Lang & O'Leary Exchange, a daily business program on CBC News Network. Previously, she was co-anchor of SqueezePlay on BNN, and a contributor to Report on Business magazine. Before returning to Canada and BNN, Lang was an anchor and correspondent at CNN and its business network CNNfn in New York, where she reported from the NYSE. She was also the New York correspondent for the Financial Post in 1998 and 1999. A part of the team that helped launch Report on Business Television (now BNN), Lang covered US markets from Manhattan. She began her career in journalism at the Globe and Mail, where she edited the Classroom Edition. Lang studied Architecture at the University of Manitoba. |
