Toronto, February 7, 2008 – IR magazine has announced the winners of the prestigious IR Magazine Canada Awards 2008. The winners were announced at the annual black-tie gala dinner held in Toronto at the Fairmont Royal York on Thursday, February 7. Among those taking home the top prizes were CN, Cognos, Cineplex Entertainment and DRAXIS Health.
On Friday morning, award winners along with representatives of IR magazine will open trading at the TSX.

The awards were based on the results of an independent survey, which was sponsored by The Globe and Mail, of more than 350 buy-side analysts, sell-side analysts, portfolio managers and retail investors. The research was carried out by Mary Maude Research with the assistance of Thomson Financial, Equicom, TSX Group and PrecisionIR Group. The complete results from the survey are published in IR magazine’s Investor Perception Study, Canada 2008.
The IR magazine investor perception studies together make up the world’s largest survey of this kind, canvassing over 5,000 analysts and investors in more than 14 countries and regions.
