London, October 11, 2007 – Some of the country’s most influential companies and not-for-profits have been shortlisted for the second annual CorpComms Awards. Winners will be announced at the annual gala dinner to be held in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday, November 28. Comedian Frankie Boyle will be Master of Ceremonies at the awards presentation.
Award categories include best CSR strategy, best crisis management, best employee communications, best corporate brand management and best communications by a voluntary sector organisation. A full list of nominees in all categories appears below.
The awards will be co-sponsored by companies including CitySavvy, Durrants, Media Training Masterclasses, SSK Conferences & Live Events and Penrose Financial.
Qualified candidates were invited to submit applications for the award categories open to competition. The shortlist was selected by an independent panel of judges chaired by CorpComms editor Helen Dunne and included representatives from trade bodies and associations, and experts who specialise in the various award categories. The category of best financial and business media relations was judged by a separate panel of business journalists.
