Companies shortlisted for IR magazine’s annual UK investor relations awards announced

LONDON, June 15, 2007 – More than 50 UK companies were shortlisted in over 20 categories for the upcoming 15th annual IR Magazine UK Awards. The black-tie event, to be hosted by Ed Bryne, will take place at the Artillery Garden in London on June 27.

The investment community voted for the top companies in 29 separate categories including best investor relations officer, best investor relations by a CEO and best corporate governance. One of the newer categories, best narrative reporting, was judged by a special panel convened by category sponsor the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. The IR Magazine UK Awards is the largest event of its type in Europe, attended by close to 600 professionals including investor relations officers, CFOs, CEOs and service providers.

Among the shortlisted companies are ARM Holdings, Barclays, BG Group, Autonomy, Cookson, LogicaCMG, Detica and Rok. View a full list of nominees and categories.

Mary Maude was commissioned by Cross Border, event producer, publisher of IR magazine and host of the IR Magazine Awards worldwide, to conduct the investor perception study for the awards. The study gathered votes for the evening’s winners and canvassed opinion on current issues in the IR community.
