Corporate Secretary Magazine Think Tanks are free of charge but by invitation-only for a select group of senior-level corporate secretaries and in-house counsel.
Format
The Think Tank is a participant-led event comprised of three sessions. Three to four session leaders introduce the topic to be discussed before invited participants break out in small roundtable groups to discuss the issues. At the end of each session participants reconvene as a group to share their thoughts. Switching tables at the start of each session ensures maximum interaction and networking opportunities with all participants.
Corporate Secretary Magazine Think Tanks aim to provide senior-level corporate secretaries and in-house counsel a unique opportunity to share experiences, express ideas and discuss the most pressing issues affecting them in their professional roles. Topics that have been covered at past think tanks include: executive compensation, the changing role and priorities of the corporate secretary, proxies and broker over-voting, managing your time and attorney-client privilege and internal investigations.
Participants
Attendees are leading corporate secretaries and in-house counsel with an established track record and a strategic role within his or her company.
To allow participants to let their guard down during these discussions, they are guaranteed anonymity.
