As you may recall, 'Hacked Off' was a monthly feature in CorpComms magazine last year. Leading journalists identified how PR people damaged their pitch by dealing with them ineffectively.
However, there is only so much that one can gain from an article. The aim of this event is to bring 'Hacked Off' to life.
This Hacked off event focused on 'Dealing with the financial media'. Invited attendees discussed and debated how to maximise the PR-journalist relationship with two of Electric Airwaves’ leading broadcast and print journalists: Scott Chisholm, who established Sky News in the UK and Sonia Purnell, former city correspondent for the Daily Telegraph and now a freelancer for the FT, the Evening Standard, Independent and Times.
This debate will be the focus of CorpComms' first podcast, produced by CTN Communications, and will be available from this website on Friday, May 4.
