The IR Magazine UK Think Tank was held on Friday, June 16, at Merrill Lynch, London. A select group of senior level IR professionals came together to discuss the most pressing issues in the IR arena. The aim was to tune into the intellectual resource offered by the UK’s leading IROs and to highlight current areas of contention. Delegates shared experiences and opinions with the aim of coming to a resolution for the way forward.
About the think tank
The day was divided into four sections each focusing on a specific area of concern for the UK IR community. Each session began with an expert panel presenting the issue to be discussed. Invited participants then had the opportunity to discuss the issue in roundtable groups.
While the event is closed-door and confidential, anonymous comments were published in an article in IR magazine and on this web site.
Free of charge - but by invitation only
The think tank is free of charge to a select group of senior level IR practitioners but is by invitation only. The attendees are being selected from companies highlighted in our awards research over the last few years as well as a sample of leading practitioners. Each of the attendees will have a strategic IR role within their company.
