Neil Stewart - Editorial director

Neil Stewart
Neil rejoins Cross Border as VP, editorial director in our New York office after two years as a freelance consulting editor for IR magazine, contributing articles from Asia, Africa and Europe. Previously, he worked as an editor for IR magazine for seven years, including two and a half years covering the US and Canada from New York. As London-based editor-in-chief from 2000 to 2003, Stewart represented IR magazine at industry conferences and other events in the UK. continental Europe, South Africa, Australia and Asia.

Before joining IR magazine in 1996, Stewart was senior editor at News Features International in Montreal and managing editor of Capital Markets & Investor Relatons Review, a bi-lingual Chinese-English magazine.

As editorial director, Stewart now oversees Cross Border's two titles in the US, IR magazine and Corporate Secretary.

Fay Sanders - International editor

Fay Sanders
Fay Sanders became international editor of IR magazine in January 2007, having spent three years working at Incisive Media as editor of private equity magazines France unquote” and then Private Equity Europe.

She regularly chaired presentations or moderated panels at industry events across Europe or gave presentations on the European buyout market at private equity annual investor meetings. Fay researched and wrote Incisive Media’s annual France Report, as well as contributing to reviews such as the Fundraising Report or the European Leveraged Buyout Report.

Previously Fay spent three years in Lyon working as a freelance journalist for various local publications, before becoming a radio broadcaster at Lyon 1ère. She graduated with BA and MA research degrees in French and Italian at the University of Leeds.

Anna Snider - North American editor

Anna Snider
Anna Snider joined IR magazine as North American editor in February 2007. She has covered law and business for magazines, newspapers and the web from bases in New York, London, San Francisco and Newark, New Jersey.

Anna covered stocks and money managers as a staff writer for SmartMoney.com. She was also the law firm beat reporter for the New York Law Journal, and her reporting has been published in the American Lawyer, The Deal, the Wall Street Journal Sunday and numerous other publications. Anna has also worked in corporate communications for Newsweek.

She has an MS in journalism from Columbia University, an MA in public policy and applied economics from the University of Michigan and a BA in political science from Swarthmore College.

Clare Harrison - Deputy international editor

Clare Harrison
Clare has been with IR magazine since September 2006. Before she was appointed deputy international editor, Clare spent over a year working as international correspondent for IR magazine and she has also written for Corporate Secretary and CorpComms magazine. Prior to graduating in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Oxford, she worked as a journalist in Honduras, Central America and has experience of writing for regional and student press.

Kathleen Hennessy - Chief copy editor

Kathleen Hennessy
Kathleen Hennessy, chief copy editor of IR magazine, has been a journalist for the past 17 years. During that time she has written and edited for the Financial Times, Sunday Times, Independent on Sunday, Observer, MoneyUnlimited.com (a Guardian web site) and various personal finance, consumer rights and property magazines.

Kathleen is a former deputy editor of Moneywise, the UK's biggest-selling personal finance magazine, and former editor of consumer finance magazine Save Money!. She has also been a regular guest on Radio 4's You & Yours and Channel 5's Serious Money.

Tim Human - Correspondent

Tim Human
Tim has been a London-based correspondent for IR magazine since August 2007. He joined Cross Border soon after graduating from York University, where he studied English and related literature for three years.

During his time at York, Tim wrote for both Nouse and Vision, the university's rival campus newspapers.
